Dear Colleagues,
I am thrilled to present the seventh edition of the Ophthall Conference series, Ophthall 2024. Ophthall derives its name from the combination of "Ophth-" meaning Ophthalmology and "All-" meaning everything in Eye Care. Since its inception in 2018, Ophthall practice development has assisted thousands of doctors in practicing effectively. Today, Ophthall stands as a robust organization with over 3000+ Ophthalmologist Members.
We are pleased to collaborate with the Uttar Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society for this event. It is a significant recognition and honor for Ophthall Practice development to associate with the state's esteemed Ophthalmologists.
Having participated in numerous Ophthalmology conferences both as a faculty member and a participant, I have observed that many conferences overlook the crucial issue of Practice Development. The question of why no one teaches us how to practice has bothered me, leading to the conceptualization of Ophthall—an Exclusive Practice Management conference for Eye Hospitals, along with the India Ophthalmology Expo.
Ophthalmology practices today face various challenges, from regulatory issues to competition from Online Healthcare Aggregators. I am confident that participating in Ophthall 2024 will significantly enhance your ability to address these challenges. This conference breaks away from traditional formats, and I prefer to call it an Unconference. The three days of sessions from July 19 to July 21, 2024, will include four Major workshops (Insurance Billing, Hospital Design, Hospital Marketing, and Financial Management). We have lined up speakers who are experts in practice development, and I am certain that we will all gain valuable insights from them.
Ophthall 2024 provides the perfect forum for both faculty and participants to interact and potentially discuss future collaborations.
